Instrumental Chamber Orchestra

The Chamber Orchestra consists of teenagers and young people aged 10–22 who are gifted in orchestral instruments such as woodwinds/brass, strings, and percussion. Meetings and rehearsals are held every Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Chamber Orchestra serves by accompanying major services and events (such as evangelistic rallies, Concert of Prayer, and Easter), and also by offering a musical praise item at least once every three months. The pieces performed are arrangements of various hymns.

String Quartet

The String Quartet consists of four ensemble members who play violin, viola, and cello. The quartet serves in musical praise items and in accompanying vocal groups in the main Sunday service. Their repertoire ranges from hymn arrangements to classical works by Haydn, Handel, and other well-known composers.

GRII Sydney invites members who can play an orchestral instrument at a minimum of AMEB/ABRSM Grade 3 level to participate in the Instrumental Chamber Orchestra ministry. Let us offer our talents back to God for His glory.
