In his book Desiring God, John Piper states that “God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.” This means that when we delight fully in God—not merely in His blessings—we give Him the highest glory. God is the source of all things; there is none greater or more glorious than He is. When we love anything more than God, we diminish Him. But when God becomes the primary source of our joy, we glorify Him.
GRII Sydney is committed to challenging the world’s norms that make the self into our god. Through our Student & Young Professionals Kelompok Tumbuh Bersama (KTB) Bible Study Fellowship, we seek to shape students’ and working adults’ mindset with a biblical worldview, so that they will be strengthened to face a world that stands in opposition to God. We invite young people to join this KTB and gain a deeper understanding of the world we live in.
