Everyone needs to know their Creator in order to live their life. GRII Sydney holds worship services every Sunday as a means of relating to God, our Creator, and of fellowship with fellow followers of Christ. Expository sermons with an evangelical spirit and solid Reformed theology are preached from the pulpit each week. By the help of the Holy Spirit, the congregation is equipped with a true knowledge of God’s Word, becomes more rooted and grows in faith, and is stirred with zeal to proclaim the gospel.

Sunday School is a children’s worship service where children come to worship God their Creator. In Sunday School, God’s Word is taught to children through a structured, Bible-based curriculum. GRII Sydney Sunday School uses material from Great Commission Publications (GCP). Each week, children also memorise Bible verses, do activities and crafts, and/or receive a devotional reflection (for older children).

GRII Sydney Sunday School is divided into five classes:

• Love (ages 2.5–4)
• Joy (ages 4–Kindy)
• Kindness (Years 1–2)
• Self-Control (Years 3–4)
• Faithfulness (Years 5–6)

The teenage years are a time when young people begin searching for their identity and seeking acceptance from their surroundings and friends. It is also a season when they start thinking more critically and become more confident in expressing what they want. As Christian parents, we have a responsibility to lead and introduce our children—especially those who have entered their teenage years—to know God and their Savior personally. During this stage, teenagers also begin to experience peer pressure from those around them.

That is why, as a church, we also have a responsibility—alongside the family—to provide guidance for teenagers in accordance with the truth of God’s Word. We invite and encourage parents to worship together with us and to bring their teenagers so that we can learn God’s Word together at GRII Sydney. In the teen group, the youth will interact with one another and reflect on God’s Word as it relates directly to the Christian faith, and on how to respond rightly to the challenges of our times. The teen group consists of youth with an average age of 12–15 years old.
